Mull Self Catering

Faoileann Ghlas - Mull Self Catering ( sleeps 6 )

If I won the lottery I think I would design and build the perfect retreat, it would be designed by a highly regarded architect making inspired use of open plan design. It would be bright and airy, built on a remote Scottish Island, just beside the sea overlooking a quiet beach. Somewhere I could go to when everything gets too much, somewhere that I could turn stress into relief. But I don't play the lottery so there is little chance of me winning, however the good news is that I don't need to build my vision I can just come here to Faoileann Ghlas, this wonderful Isle of Mull self catering accommodation is just about as close to reality my perfect vision can be.

The location of Faoileann Ghlas is perfect, it makes an excellent place to explore Mull, for the children it's close to Craignure where there is a miniature railway that takes you through absolutely stunning scenery to Torosay Castle. There is also a great swimming pool with one wall with glass floor to ceiling that overlooks the bay. But the best is the abundance of beaches. It is so nice to get up in the morning, open the wide patio doors and go for a stroll along the pebble beach, breathing the freshest of air, return to the designer cream kitchen for a coffee. It is this sort of experience that gives me the opportunity to see my place in the world, and to reflect on the footprints I make on my way through it.

The accommodation is second to none, the contemporary styling is shown everywhere, the bedrooms are stylish, the enormous beds have the comfiest of mattresses, and both the doubles have en-suite shower rooms. The Living room upstairs has a glass wall that overlooks the bay with views of such beauty it has rendered most of the guests who have stayed here speechless. The comments in the guest book just say things like "perfection", "the most amazing place I have ever stayed" and "a small piece of heaven on earth"

I don't think you should believe them
.................................... .... you should come and see for yourself !

Mull self catering doesn't get better than this.
